Can you say: “Lord, send me to whom You will-only send me. Let that power come upon me, that I may win souls for Jesus Christ? May we have no will but God’s sweet will. Oh, that our wills may be swallowed up in God’s will.”
These precious words by D.L. Moody model for us what our prayer should be. Oh, that you, oh, that I, oh, that all of God’s children would regularly cry out from the bottom of the heart—these words. Can you feel, in the depth of your soul, that longing for God to send you, to use you, to empower you to bear fruit for Him? Then, cry out, dear saint of God! Cry out to the Father of mercies. Surely He will hear. Surely He will answer such a prayer as this.
Lord, send me to whom You will—only send me!
