God’s Word declares, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news…” (Isaiah 52:7) Do you have beautiful feet? Are you making it your practice to GO outside the church walls to the surrounding “mountains” to bring good news? Oh, dear beloved of the Lord, please do not neglect this glorious inheritance of being a follower of Jesus!
Recently, the senior ladies of our church allowed me to lead them out to a public transportion place near us. Oh, what beautiful feet they had!!! Two of these dear saintly ladies approached a young man, name Joshua. He clearly did not know the Lord, but, oh, was his heart open! He listened intently to the gospel. His heart opened to its message. One of these ladies and her husband picked Joshua up on Sunday, brought him to the church service. His heart opened more. We are convinced that God has greatly impacted Joshua for eternity.
There he was…standing at the bus stop, not thinking about God. These ladies LOVINGLY invaded his world with the gospel. He is changed. Here is a note from Joshua.
“I just wanted to thank you both from the very bottom of my heart. In my search for God,there has never been a question left unanswered, and meeting your family has left me without question…God is alive, and God is the only way.
More than that, however, or aside from it, your hospitality has touched the very fiber of my spirit. I will never be capable of describing just how much that Sunday afternoon with your family has changed my life.
The presence of the Holy Spirit is so abundantly clear in all of you. I will be seeing you again, and will stay in touch. God has blessed you!”
